After deciding to purchase a car for use in Spain (where i have a holiday home) I decided on Costa Cars based in La Zenia.
I spoke to Jose on the telephone from the UK after viewing cars on their website. After Jose explained how the paperwork and purchase of a car works in Spain I then went ahead and transferred a small deposit on the car I was interested in. Costa Cars held the car for me until I arrived in Spain and could test drive and view the car in person. There was no pressure sales techniques employed and I was left to decide on my own after I asked a few questions regarding the car’s history and its service records.
All the paperwork and checks were handled by Costa Cars and their solicitor. I even received a competitive insurance quote.
We all are looking for a bargain. I believe I received value for money not just on the car itself but also the service provided by Costa Cars.

Hei ! Jeg kjøpte meg ny bil i fra en selger i Alicante i mai. Ringte derfor først til en dame i Spania som er ansvarlig for en webside for å be om råd. Hun anbefalte meg å snakke med Costa Cars som var annonsør på hennes side. Hun sa at Costa Cars er et meget seriøst bilfirma. De har sitt bruktbilutsalg veldig nær min leilighet. Da jeg tok kontakt første gang var de uten videre villig til å hjelpe meg gjennom spanias til dels vasnkelige byråkrati. De ga meg råd og veiledning om hva som måtte gjøres for å kunne kjøpe ny bil i Spania nå. Jeg måtte bl.a. fornye mitt NIE dokument. Dette fikk jeg bestilt. Senere så hjalp Costa Cars meg med å få reparert min gamle bil. De benytter et meget bra verksted i Almoradi (Carlos Herrera) til service og reparasjoner av bilparken sin. Bilen ble som ny og ved hjelp fra Costa Cars besto den EU-kontrollen med glans ! Når det gjelder den nye bilen så fikk de ordnet med kontrakt mellom selger og meg som ble signert på deres kontor. De ordnet med forsikring men jeg satt der, og de ordnet med selve omregistreringen. Makan til service har jeg aldri opplevd i Spania noen gang, og det etter å ha hatt ferieleilighet på La Zenia (Orihuela Costa) i 15 år. We have just purchased from Costa Cars a 2009 Nissan Tiida dci and would like to say that it was a pleasure to buy the car from them. We were left alone to view all the cars we wanted, not followed around, nor hassled or pressurized into buying any car. If we had any questions, we only had to ask, we took the car for two test drives over a couple of weeks, we could go where we wanted and take our time. After buying the car, we noticed a very slight oil leak and this was repaired within 24hrs and a courtesy car was provided. Well done to all the staff @ CostaCars, 1st class service.

In my opinion, Costa Cars are a well run company. After 6 months of searching online & visiting most of the 2nd hand Car Dealers between Alicante & Orihuela Costa, both Alister & William impressed me with their knowledge & professional attitude. Alister actually told me that the other car i was viewing was a good deal and i should go with it! Having previously purchased cars for our personal use from CostaCars, when it came to looking for vehicles when we formed our Company, William and Alister were our first and only contacts. Initially in May 2009 we asked them to find us a suitable people-carrier to transport our clients and guests - they came up trumps with an Opel Vivaro with which we are delighted. Recently, we needed to replace our ancient run-around van and once again they produced exactly what we required. The vehicles were handed over to us in excellent condition - they even helped design and organised the logos on our recent purchase. Recommeded! In June 2009 we moved to Spain and needed to buy a car. Our insurance agent recommended that we went over to Costa Cars. The first impression we got from Alister & William was great, they made us feel comfortable with no pressure. Guess what happened next? Yes!
